LONG BEACH CONTAINER TERMINAL SALE
Long Beach Container Terminal is a key facility within the largest container port network in the United States (Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach). Black Quay delivered all buy-side technical advisory due diligence in the sale of Long Beach Container Terminal by OOCL as part of their US Government imposed divestment due to the takeover by Cosco Shipping.
Black Quay delivered all technical analysis on the project including capacity reviews, capacity and operational enhancement analysis to expand the terminal, equipment capital and operational condition assessments and cost reviews, competitor terminal reviews, detailed fleet forecasting integration, and landside transport initiative reviews for the international container terminal. The terminal was eventually sold for nearly $1.8billion.
